jack siminerio

Hi! My name is Jack Siminerio. I am 19 years old and a film major at the School of Visual Arts in NYC.

I'm extremely passionate about many different kinds of art. I've  been drawing since I was very young, and have always had an ear for music. To this day, I use both of these talents to my advantage. Through art and songwriting, I am able to express any strong emotions I may have. I have included full length original songs and samples of my artwork in their respective sections.

While I often turn to music and art as emotional outlets, I have found my true calling in filmmaking. I've always had an appreciation for movies, but it really blossomed as I gained more experience in the craft throughout high school. I've gotten the opportunity to explore this talent and build on my skills through working with Lakehouse Music Academy and Boho Hair Salon, both in Asbury Park NJ. I've made short documentaries, music videos, and promotional videos for these business that can be seen below.

Additionally, I have been accepted into the Monmouth Film Festival, Film Young Fest, Lighthouse Film Festival, and Indie Street Film Festival, all in 2019.
